Hi everyone just wondering if someone would be able to record Dr Phil as I dont know when it will be shown here in Australia. If someone can we could probably circulate it around all the Aussies. If anyone is interested that would be fantastic. It could be forever before we got to see it in Australia. Thanks Kind regards Kell.

I'm looking into possibly recording it on the computer and then sending the file over to those overseas that want it? That way we avoid the conflict with all the different video systems overseas.
Do you have broadband? As I suppose otherwise it would be very slow to download such a file.
But just wanted to let you know that I'm working on something for the overseas ladies!

Joanna, would a DVD work? Are there different DVD systems or are they all the same? I don't really know much about these things as you can tell. There is an upcoming BBC programme as I expect you are aware. Hopefully we could do the same about that, if you are interested in watching it?

I think the DVDs are different too. (If I remember correctly...I think we were looking to buy Tractor Tom DVDs from England as we couldn't get them over here and we ended up not getting them because we couldn't play them) But I will have to look further into that...
Yes, I am very interested in see the BBC3 show!!!

Store-bought DVD's have "zones" that they work in...

I'm not sure about DVD's that we record at home though... or ones that are recorded through a computer and then played back on a computer.

I would love to see the BBC show as well I didnt hear about that one. My husband has just told me that our DVD player is multi region so therefore we can play DVD's from anywhere. So I think I should be right. Thanks for all your help and I am really looking forward to viewing the shows. Kell.

Joanna, getting it available to download would be so great (though, I don't have broadband..)
The DVDs we've tried from US have worked on our machine, but aren't sure if they all do.
Thanks for all the work people are doing on this.

I was hoping to order a copy from the Dr Phil website but don't know yet if they send out overseas. We have a multizone DVD player but I know nothing about computer DVD's. Maybe Corey would know?

I would love to see both the Dr Phil and BBC program, either on broadband or DVD. Great to see that HG is getting some publicity! Maybe we wont get crackered quite so often!

I'm planning on taping it on the computer. I'll have to do a test transmit of the file to see how long it will take.
I also plan on airing it on MSN so if you have a webcam you can view it at the same time it's on here (3:00 PM PST) Only problem is that we can't get the sound to work but my dh is going to fiddle with it some more to see if we can get that working.
Will keep you guys updated.

I think this will be the best way to do it. Then we don't have to fiddle with transmitting large files or sending DVDs that are compatible with the technology in your country.
