Hyperemesis Gravidarum Support and Research Forums

My wife is 9 weeks hg pregnant.
Where i live (West Indies) Zofran is almost impossible to acquire and the doctor has suggested Navoban (Tropisetron) made by Novartis.
Has any one had any sucess with this drug??
Help needed.

It is in the same class of drug as Zofran, Kytril, and Anzemet.

I'd contact Motherisk in Canada--they have the largest data bank of information on drugs in pregnancy.

Everything I've found online indicates it is not as effective as ondansetron (zofran).
