Can someone tell me how PMing works? How do I know if someone has PMed me. I'm confused...thanks so much for clarifying.
FYI...I LOVE THIS SITE.

Over to the right of all the posts and threads you'll see a little box that says "Who is Online".

Underneath it it has categories-

"memberlist"
"usergroups"
and it will say
"you have 1 (or however many) messages". Or it will say "You have no new messages"

Click on that and it will take you to your "Message Box".

To send a "PM" to a member you look underneat any post of their or look them up in the memberlist and there's a small box to click underneath that says "PM".

Also, if you go into your profile, you will see, about half way down the page, in preferences, there is an option to have "Pop up window on new Private Message:" tick the 'yes' box and when you log in, or come on to the site a little pop window will tell you you have messages and provide a link to it/them.

If you have any pop up stopping software on your computer (or use AOL) then you need to have this site as an "allowed site."
