Our princess has arrived

Hello ladies,

Our little baby girl arrived on May 25th. Her name is Lauren Karoline.

After my post about the bloody show, things started happening :D I went to the hospital to get checked because of the bleeding that I noticed. It was only a bit of blood, but I wanted to be on the safe side and make sure nothing was wrong. So, I went to Labour and Delivery. When I got there, about 30 minutes went by and I started getting contractions that were five minutes apart. Things happened very quickly. My contractions came on hard and I was in a lot of pain so I got an epidural after about two hours of contractions. Twenty minutes after I had the epidural, I was dilated to 10 cm. I pushed a few times and then our baby was born. The total time for the labour and the birth was under three hours :D

Our baby is doing just great. I love her so much!

Lynn- Congratulations. I am so happy that we both delivered on the same day that way noone was left for last :D

What a wonderful birth story. I look forward to seeing pictures of your little angel.

Wow, woman, labour and birth in under 3 hours. I bet those contractions were painful...You must be a real trouper.

Delighted your daughter has arrived. You sound like you are glowing.

Congratulations. I am so happy for you. The Countdown Club have had their babies :D . I have been checking the boards every few hours to find out if you had posted. I figured you had your little one since you did not post. Enjoy your new daughter. You did wonderful.

Congratulations Lynn! I'm so glad that you have your sweet little girl now. It has been such a long road that we travelled together, how wonderful to have finished the HG journey and be able to get on with LIFE now! It sounds as though you are doing very well.
