Although these sound sound strange, these are the foods/drinks that I lived on: lemonade, popcorn (plain, no butter), grilled cheese (under broiler so no butter was used), and plain sugar cookies (no frosting).

Popcorn was a big one for me as well. When I was able to eat food again, I ate popcorn every day. My great-grandmother had to be hospitalized during pregnancy (with what we know think was HG), and she swore by popcorn as well!

Lol - it's funny what people can and can not tolerate. People around me were literally banned from uttering thr 'C' word because if I even conceived of the thought that cheese existed, I would barf for England.

I had such a major cheese aversion

:D Cheese is sometimes okay for me. Funny - when I was about 7 weeks I ran out an bought a box of Mac and Cheese - thought it sounded good. However, by the time I got home, it was too late. The box is still in my pantry and the mere thought of it makes me sick (feeling sick just writing this email!). I'm 14 weeks now..

My do's include:

popcorn - also works for me.
Doughnuts (the cake kind with powdered sugar).
Very cold milkshakes made at home are good (Vanilla Ensure + Banana+ice)
Apples - have to be sliced with a knife, can't nibble from the apple itself
Dreyers Whole Juice Bars - popsicles that are great. Loved Lime and berry.
Protein was hardest for me as all meats are evil.. Sometimes I could manage a very cold yogurt..

If I'm having a good day/hour
- Chicken McNuggets (with BBQ sauce to cover the taste of the chicken!)
-Quesadilla - just tortilla and cheese

I have a serious cheese aversion too.
I strangely enough CAN only eat meat...all breads are bad! I was a strict vegetarian 8 yrs ago with my first preg...all I could eat was fried bologna. Guess it is a southern thing? hehehe But the vegetarian in me never returned.
Anyway, with the second one I loved patty sausage.
This one likes chili and hot dogs!
Bad part is, if I do get sick...ii is not fun!

Cheese is one of the few proteins I CAN tolerate! Also fake "Krab" and shrimp. Carbohydrates are best - I start every day with Frosted Flakes. Grilled cheese is good, also green grapes. I can't tolerate milk except whole milk and cream, and only in cooking. I'll have to try popcorn - sounds like that's a good one!
