Courageous or dumb?

Yesterday I took my first most terrifying step into finding more healing. I went to our county mental health facility to talk to someone there. I was so afraid of seeing my ex cps clients or their husbands there, but I didn't see anyone I knew. One small step for Jenny, one giant step for mental health.

of course its brave!!!! I cant wait to get help as soon as i can drive myself. Who cares who see's you no one would understand what we go through and you have certaintly been through more than enough to justify some help, and thats all it is..help. We still have to make it work. I think your brave. Kayla

Wonderful. It's those of us who dare to bare our souls that healing happens for. It's the best journey I've ever taken in my life, and is leading to greater peace and freedom than I've ever thought possible.
Don't worry about others. It's actually comforting for me to know that my therapist has been to therapy, to know she's not above acting human once in a while
