Guidelines for Grief and Loss

Postby IslandDreamer » Oct 23, 2007 9:53 am

Grief and Loss Guidelines:
1. All tickers must be surpressed - Women dealing with the loss of a child often find tickers to be painful reminders.
2. It is never appropriate to tell someone how they should think or feel in dealing with their losses. Posters are allowed to grieve in their own ways and in their own time.
3. All posts should be supportive in nature only, any personal, ethical or religious points of view that can be considered inflammatory, judgmental or harmful to posters will be immediately removed. Personal stories or suggestions regarding ways of healing and/or memorializing lost babies are appropriate.
4. When your post includes mention of other living children or pregnancy, please add the notice *LC Mentioned* or *pg mentioned* to the subject of the post.
5. When discussing the topic of termination -- at no time is any debate on this topic allowed in the Forums. Please review HER Forum guidelines.
6. Please PM a moderator or administrator if you have any concerns about a post, do not express your concerns in a response on said post.

These guidelines are in addition to the general forum guidelines. http://forums.helpher.org/viewtopic.php?t=28145
