Dr. Appt Went Awesome!

Postby Bethers » Sep 19, 2005 1:59 pm

Hi you guys.

I think I have finally found my dream OB. Anyone who knows my history knows last time I ended up terminating due to bad OB care. I just met with this new Dr. today. It was a referral from the boards here. :) She is so caring, understanding and basically willing to do whatever possible to keep HG under control and bearable. With the last pregnancy that I terminated I was told "nausea is common in pregnancy just deal with it". Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. She even told me they will induce at 38 weeks. I was so thrilled to find this truly compansionate patient caring doctor. I got all my questions and we discussed everything and then it was time for the fun yearly exam. Well to add a little humor we were just about to do the pap and the NP knocks on the door and says the dr has to go to ajoining hospital for 2 deliveries. hahahah Here I am in the little napkin thingie going omg. But the NP finished the exam and she told me how awesome this dr. is and that she delivered her babies too.

Also, the dr feels I had really bad medical care and had i had better more understanding dr's things would have turned out a lot dif for me.

Just wanted to share. I am very confident we will make it through an HG pregnancy next year when we try and I will have my baby and give Jus a brother or sister.

All right Bethers. So glad you found a great doc. They are worth their weight in gold aren't they?

Beth,
:D :D :D :D :D I am so very excited for you. It is such an amazing thing to find a Doctor who cares more about their patients and less about the money that they bring in to pad their pockets. Congrats to you.

(sorry for the blunt comment but as you know, I had a bad experience with my last Doctors office as well)
