Had my Appoitment with my DR last night

Robin, I had mine put in by the GI docs with a scope under sedation, definitely the way to go for insertion. I remember struggling when they put it in, but I can't remember why, it was actually kind of a pleasant experience. Since it is a feeding tube, it is MUCH smaller than those horrid ones they put in in the ER.
I wish I could have handled it being in better, but it seems like most people that get it do well after the first 24 hours.
I'm totally with you on the TPN, tastes horrible!

Wow, this is all great information! I had no idea there were different types of tubes!
