Another game to keep us busy

I love playing this game with my students. It is called numerical expressions. Each letter stand for a word. We have heard of the expressions before, so you don't need to make them up. FOr example 26 L. in the A. is 26 letters in the alphabet.

1. 24 h. in a d.

2. 365 d. in a y.

3. 99 b. of b. o.t.w.

4. A p. is w. A 1000 w.

5. 11 p. on a f. b. t.

6. 88 p. k.

7. 9 p. in the s.s

8. 365 d. in a r. a.

9. 52 c. in a d. of c.

10. 3 w. on a t.

and one more for now

11. 12 s. in the z. (no it is not 12 snakes in the zoo)
