All,

For the last week, I've been having a hard time emotionally, because everyone I know has been telling me how 1st time babies usually come late. Around June 24th, I was just saying how I can handle one month more, but the thought of 6 more weeks with HG was overwhelming for me.

Then, I went to the Dr. yesterday. He saw that my baby dropped and checked my cervix. I' m 3 cm dilated! My due date is scheduled for July 24th, but he said it's very unlikely I'll go past two weeks most. He then said the magical sentence....

Pack your bags, Amy, because it will most likely happen within a week.

I'll be 37 weeks on Monday.

I am so ready, first and foremost to meet my little girl, but since the HG has been severe since the first week of December, I am also ready to part with HG! I am nauseous as I type. I am dizzy and weak beyond words.

Anyway, I'll keep you all posted.

Great news. Looking forward to two baby announcements in the next couple of weeks.

My baby is now 8 weeks and it is so much fun.

OH CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm equally happy for you and jealous as well...lol. Your doc seems so full of GOOD news for you, while mine just wants me to drag on FOREVER! He's not even going to do a pelvic exam until 38 weeks! I can't wait to hear your birth story, so please post!

Oh Amy! Some good news for you at last! 3cm!!! woo hoo!!!!! I am INSANELY jealous. I had another exam today and am 1 cm and had lost two lbs. I am hoping the exam might trigger something....but 3cm - heck some people are in agony with contractions and aren't even 2 cm! Bless you! Please keep us posted. You are my inspiration!

oh im sooooo jelous you lucky girl , im praying for you that it will happen this week, im 30 weeks and 2 days and i cant even beg God to start my labour yet as its too early i cant wait to be 36 weeks time is going so slowly, anyway keep us posted

Since we haven't heard from you for a few days, maybe you had your baby!

I was 4 cm for 2 1/2 weeks until they finally broke my water at 40 weeks. And my friend, she went into labor and wasn't dialated at all. So, you just never know!

Heu Girly!!!! That is GREAT news!! I told you it wouldnt be much longer!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I am late posting, I just got out of the hospital for pancreatitus!!!!!!!
