Thanks, Chrissy. I've got you on the list from your pregnancy, so I'll just move you over to the volunteers side. Congratulations on your little one! :)

Hi,
My name is Christy and I think I signed up when I was pregnant but got so sick that I didn't get on the computer again. Now I have a beautiful 4 week old and would love to help others who are suffering from HG. I live in NW Indiana (Chicago-Land) also not far from Michigan if there are people in SW Michigan.
I have survived 2 HG pregnancies and unfortunately I think we're done b/c of it. I really hope I can help.
Thanks,
Christy

I'm in Maryland. I have had two HG pregnancies. I read this site quite a bit right after I found out I was pregnant with my second son (I didn't know anything about HG during my 1st pregnancy) but never posted. I was too sick to read on the computer after 8 weeks - it made the nausea worse. I would love to help anyone suffering from HG in Maryland. I will send my you an e-mail with my information.

Thanks, Lisa. I'll be happy to add you to the list. We've had lots of requests from Maryland lately, too. And the computer thing--yeah. I couldn't turn over in bed without vomiting with HGs 1-3. I'm glad so many women are able to keep up here during the worst, but I hear from many who aren't able to stay in communication while they're sick. Which is what the buddy system is supposed to help with--a connection while we've dropped off the face of the earth!

I'm willing to be a buddy--I might already be one of your CA names, but if not, sign me up. My kids are 11 and almost-7, so I might not have the most up-to-date experience about treatment possibilities, but you never, ever forget how HG feels or affects your life, huh?

Hi, Penny. I remember you, but I don't have you on the volunteer list--and I'm happy to add you. You certainly don't forget HG and its impact on your life; it's been almost 11 years since my first HG pregnancy, and the experience is still very vivid. Aren't we lucky? :?

Pamela,

I know I'm still HG'ing right now....but it will be over soon (if you can consider 8 weeks soon while HG'ing  )

Anyway, I knew there wasn't anyone in WV...you can sign me up to be a buddy for someone else....apparently I'm a geographical oddity and people in this state don't get HG or something strange like that....

Anyway, I'm rambling....took some extra Zofran this morning....use me use me use me.....

Use you, use you, use you? That must be some goood Zofran! I don't know what it is about the south, but I have a terrible time getting volunteers from below the Mason-Dixon line. Maybe [FOODMENT] grits and okra cure HG? LOL - Regional slam from someone who'se never eaten either...I'll hush now. And I'll add you, the first official West Virginia representative. Don't let that go to your head!

Jordana, I'm also happy to add you to the volunteers list--I'll email you with details. We have a thriving little group of HGers from Tennessee now! Congratulations on your newest little one. :)

WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! OK...not letting this go to my head....

I don't think it was the Zofran...I think it's just that the blood is being redirected from my brain......
