Hello,
I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been on the couch for 3.5 days and it seems like it will be forever. I have six kids that are taking full advantage of mommy being sick. I can stand that no one believes that this is serious and will not help me as I have begged. Any way I am glad I found this site so I can vent inbetween boughts of vomitting and severe nausea! I have never had this condition before so it makes me wonder if I am having mutiples? Guess I will find out with an US.

Susan - Multiples is one of the first things most doctors rule out with an HG pregnancy since increased hormone levels can definitely mean more sickness. It doesn't seem like many of our ladies here have multiples, but as a rule women are more sick with multiples, so it's a good place to start. Let us know what you find out!

I'm in North Carolina. I'm pregnant with #3, and waiting to see if the HG begins. My first baby I didn't have HG, I had regular MS, but it was very mild. With baby #2, I had severe HG, threw up over 40 times a day from weeks 5-22. Then it went to mild HG until the delivery. So I'm experienced.

Right now we're waiting to see if the HG is going to happen again this time.

I would love to have a buddy that can refer me to a doctor in my area. I live in Kentucky. I am also a military wife. I would like to have a buddy that knows what it is like going through hard times alone. My husband leaves in June for training. He is going out of state. My due date is July 12, his birthday. He will be gone when I go into labor.
