Welcome. I have volunteers in your area, and I'll have someone in touch with you soon. It sounds like adding another med to the Zofran will help you right now; there are meds NHS oks like Phenergan- or Reglan-equivilents, and you could also have someone at home in the US send you some meclizine or Unisom or something of that OTC nature. And it sounds like a reflux med will be very helpful for you, too.
I do understand your ambivilance about a new baby. My husband is like that--he doesn't really LIKE babies until they're old enough to do something, so in our case it worked well that I preferred babyhood to toddlerhood, when he took over the excitement portion of the program. After two colicky, refluxing baby girls, though, the thought of a newborn strikes fear in my heart. But you know how quickly they assert their little personalities, and within a matter or weeks you'll realize that you've known this baby forever and that he or she is more a little person than a helpless newborn. And you've got older children to help, which may work to your advantage. There's time to make these adjustments; in the meantime, let's work on a volunteer and on finding a med combo that works for you! Just email me by hitting the button at the bottom of this post. I need a name and email address, and I'll have a support person in touch right away.
