HER Foundation forms alliance with CaringBridge to help HG women stay connected to family and friends

Caring BridgeThe HER Foundation has formed an alliance with CaringBridge, a nonprofit offering many ways for people to care for each other during any type of health event. CaringBridge services are available online 24/7 to anyone, anywhere at no cost. CaringBridge offers protected online spaces with multiple privacy settings. Personal data is protected and not sold. People don’t see intrusive advertising on CaringBridge sites and planners. CaringBridge Sites
CaringBridge provides sites where people can post health updates. People are able to stay connected and leave supportive messages during a health event. Rather than individually contacting each member of their support communities, a CaringBridge site allows people to update everyone with one journal entry.

The CaringBridge SupportPlanner is a calendar that helps family and friends coordinate care and organize helpful tasks, like bringing a meal, taking care of pets and other needs.

Amplifier Hub
The Amplifier Hub gives volunteers the opportunity to spread the word about CaringBridge and its mission, as well as connecting with volunteers and other supporters.

With the help of a CaringBridge services, people are able to expand their support communities. “CaringBridge is such a blessing to our family and friends. I love it and hope it’s always there for us to use,” says Beth Keathley, CaringBridge user.
