A Forum Just for Dads

Postby aaronsmommy » Mar 17, 2006 10:44 pm

There was some interest a while back for a private forum for dads only, and we have decided to give it a try.

Is there anyone out there who would be interested in moderating? I'm sure having an active moderator will help ensure the forum's success.

We will keep the open forum as well and see how things go. I should have it set up sometime this weekend.

I guess we'll see what Bruce has to say!

The forum should be set up appropriately. I have added all the dad's names I know if to the forum. If you want to join the group and have trouble, post here and I will get you in.

Is this the Dad's Lounge? Or is it something different. I'm going to try and get my husband to join.

Hello there. I'm a new HGer and new to the site. My DH-to-be is definately in need of some support from other dads going through the same thing. He's definately interested and I'll be directing him to this thread so he can confirm that. I anticipate him to join in the next day or so... when he does get registered, could you please add him to the Dad's Forum? His Username is Greywhisker.

Thx. :)

Kenderyl,
Welcome. The dad's lounge seems to be quite slow, but if your dh is in need of support let me know. I'm sure my husband would be happy to e-mail with him. If he's interested let me know. My husband has already posted in the dad's lounge, his username is Cormander.

Kenderyl - I just added your partner to the dads' group. It's a pretty slow forum, but we have great dads who are willing to get in touch privately, too, if that's easier, so make sure your DH knows he's got other avenues of support.
