The ABCs of HG: An Unconventional Picture Book

Postby justme » Apr 28, 2012 1:42 pm

Hi all,

For HG Awareness Day I have put together an unconventional picture book to tell my story and help raise awareness. My blog get around 30,000 pageviews a month so here is how you can help . . .

1). Visit the blog often by following this link (http://tiny.cc/58mhdw) to keep the post highly ranked so that it stays on the right hand side bar where everyone will see it.

2). Leave a comment - that helps increase the rank and keeps it on the google search bots.

3). Share the link with your friends and family.

On May 15th I am putting up a graphic with a page of links to various stories (some already on the blog, others in the works). All of them of course tell readers to refer back to the HER Foundation for more information. This is the only way I have to do my part so I would be honored if you would help me by spreading the word.

Thank you,
Karen

I've been to your blog before and love it! I work at a private high school library and have also suffered from hg. It's neat to find someone with similar interests. I posted a comment on your blog. I noticed you said that you get a lot of visits to your blog and was wondering if you might look at mine and offer me some tips. I'm very new to blogging and just started one two days ago. http://hgsurvivor.wordpress.com/ Thanks!

This has helped a lot and touched my heart why should poor innocent women go through hell day to day like I myself have and have no knowledge of the real diagnoses because in my experience I have had to deal with ignorance and pure cluelessness of this illness which is incredibly frustrating and upsetting when you just aren't getting the help you need and people to understand that this is no walk in the park and that you have all the right in the world to be cared for more and have more time put into providing the help and understanding you as a expectant mother suffering with HG are entitled too. This high risk life threatening emotionally tormenting illness needs more awareness because I only found out myself by luck about this in my second pregnancy but other woman aren't so lucky let's give them a shoulder to cry on and understanding that they are not alone and are no alien unworthy mother to be there just dealt an unlucky hand in life. But they are loved , valued and cared for. So all those who are fighting to get this information out there are amazing people who are helping change life's and I as a new member to this group say thank you so much , your care has helped me be aware.

Thank you for writing this. So beautifully (painfully, tearfully) describes the horrors of HG. I just sent your link to The View with hopes they will gather correct information and share publicly.
