When I was pg and HGing, I always had UTI. It was incredibly stupid because I would go into the ER with uncontrollable vomiting, no pee for 3 days, and pretty lethargic and they would send me home with a DX of UTI. REALLY?? That's the best you could do? I told you I haven't peed in 3 days, what did you expect would be the problem??
Cranberry is excellent for UTIs, but I could never stomach it while pg. I found cranberry pills, but seriously, I couldn't care less if what I found something that stayed down was organic or not! And when cranberry didn't stay well, I never thought to try pom juice (only more tart and stronger tasting, which is never good coming back up).
Perhaps we should have a list of FB crackers on here. People can just be silly about all this stuff. "I am on Zofran, Phenergan, and IVs at home, but no, I haven't tried crackers or drinking fluids on my own because I like all this stuff." Nuts!
