Hi there. Im very excited that a found a forum about HG. This is my first time having it, and its been really rough. I am currently 10weeks and 4 days. The hardest thing for me is not being able to take care of my kids or cook or do the household duties. Most of my time is spent in bed. I can barely work, though Im lucky I work from home. A week ago i was put on a zofran pump which does help, but I still feel so depleted, no energy.
First time with HG. Started at 6 weeks.
Wearing a Zofran pump 24/7.
Due 7/30/12
Have 2 boys, 6yrs old and 20mos.

Hugs and welcome. This site is amazing and the ladies on here are life savers. I hope you will feel well enough to come on and read and post often to let us know how you're doing. I had a toddler to care for with my second round of HG, so I know a little of what you're going through. Whatever you do, don't try to be super mom. Give yourself and house work a huge pass. Every time I tried to do too much, I'd pay for it for a few days. You can do this...HG is so isolating and lonely. We're here for you.

Thank you slterwil. It is very lonely, especially when you're home alone everyday feeling miserable. Its hard to give myself a pass but Im trying. If Im too active I do pay for it. Ive also found that people dont really understand how sick you are. Im not one to ask for help but had to this week. I wish people could just see the need you know?

My vomiting has lessened with the pump to once or twice a day. I am able to keep some foods down, its like my baby just sucks it all up bc I usually have more trouble keeping fluids down. Is there anything I can do to help with me feeling so weak and tired? I feel so puny. My doc wants me to get protein and I'm trying but all the supplements they have are nasty!!
