I am so glad to welcome my little girl, Kathleen Amelia Morales. She is 22" long and weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces. I had her with a c-section at 1:02 pm today. I will be posting pics later this weekend, I just really wanted to post this and celebrate my end of HG.... I already feel better! More details later on, but I'm really tired for now.

Kathleen Amelia, born by repeat c-section on 9/2/11. HG from 5-39 weeks, Zofran, Phenergan, Marinol.
1st HG baby, undiagnosed - Elizabeth-Anne Rose, born 2-9-99. Proud to have survived a teen pregnancy and made it to the other side, especially with HG.

yay!!!! Welcome to the world little one. Your mommy is very relieved you are here and so are we. When do you get to eat? That was all I wanted to do after my c-section and it was at 10:30 at night. Get some rest. HUGS

Baby Riley 12/2010 6 lbs 9 ounces: HG from 6 weeks to delivery at 37 weeks (actually treated--PICC, IVs, subQ pump, Zofran, evil phenergan, benadryl, antacids--and *almost* got to be fluffy in the third tri)

The surgery was pretty rough... all the meds they gave me made me vomit during the surgery, which was pretty bad while strapped down to the table. But once the baby was out (other than the pain) I felt so much better. I had only a liquid diet for dinner a few hours after the surgery, but after midnight I had my first meal that was not complicated by HG. The only thing available was a salad that was mostly frozen, but considering I hadn't eaten in a full day by then, it was the best salad I'd ever had. LMAO
My pain meds have been making me nauseous, but other than that, I feel really good. For the first time in months, I haven't had any anxiety about vomiting. Its weird that I'm done with HG, and NOW I'm okay with getting sick. At this point, DH has decided that he doesn't want any more kids... just when I decided that I could go through this again, even if its only one more time. Well, maybe one of us will change our minds in the future, but for now, I'm thrilled to be a mom again. DD1 is thrilled to be a big sister and she's already stepping into the role and helping me out.

That's wonderful news that your little one is here safely. I hope you heal quickly from your C-section. Glad you are enjoying being HG free too. All the best to you and your family. I'm amazed how quickly you were on here to post your happy news!
