My husband's aunt found she was pregnant with her third son six months after her tubal. That's one of the main reasons we're still wanting my DH to get his V. We backed off on going forward just a little bit after our neighbor had his V done and had all kinds of side-effects. He was in that 1% who bleed real bad and swell up for weeks from it category. Kind of scared both of us even though we know a bunch of guys who had no issues whatsoever with theirs. When you know you're done and you don't want any surprises, it makes sense to double up.
