Olivia Anne was born January 25 at 11:48 am - 7 lb 4 oz and 19.6 inches long. Had a case of jaundice that forced her back into the hospital to go under the big blue lights for a few days, but she is doing great now. We are in love!! She was definitely worth the hellish pregnancy, although it's a shame it has to be that way for us HGers.
I was induced, and despite my apprehension the birth couldn't have gone better. I went in the night before and they gave me Cervidil and an Ambien before bed. I had painless contractions all night, and the doctor broke my water at 6:30 am - and that's when I got the Pitocin and epidural. By 10:30 I was 5 cm dilated and she was born a little over an hour later after I pushed through four contractions. Didn't feel a thing.
The best part? The last time I threw up was the morning of January 25. I finally feel like myself again. You ladies were right! Thanks so much for all of the support y'all have given.
(I can't figure out how to post a pic. Is there a thread that explains how?)
