I went in on Tuesday (december 21st) at 7:30 am to begin my induction. They started pitocin at 10:30. I had very mild irregular contractions for an hour and then my water broke. And I got the worst contractions, I was screaming for an epidural. Kudos to you ladies who can go without drugs! Your amazing! Got my epidural around 2 pm. Got checked and I was a little over 4 cm dilated at 90% effaced. An hour later they checked me again and I was 10 cm! It was time to push :) And I felt great still from the epidural! I pushed for about 15 min and she popped right out, without me feeling a thing :) Ava was born at 4:05 pm on December 21st. She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 19 in long! She is a beautiful baby and she was worth every minute of my sickness. I love her to death. Thank you ladies for your support throughout these last 39 weeks. You all have been amazing, I could not have done this without you. :) I AM PROUD TO SAY I AM NOW HG FREE! :)

Yippeeeeeee!!!! So glad she is here and you are HG free. So so happy for you!!!!

Baby Riley 12/2010 6 lbs 9 ounces: HG from 6 weeks to delivery at 37 weeks (actually treated--PICC, IVs, subQ pump, Zofran, evil phenergan, benadryl, antacids--and *almost* got to be fluffy in the third tri)

Congratulations! Isn't it so beautiful on this side of the hg fence? Ava is perfect. Love all the outfit changes in such a short time span and all the family ogling her!

Congrats! I just realized that you are from MD, I am was born & raised in PG County near the University of MD. Anywho, she is lovely and I am glad you are feeling better!
