My first pregnancy,

start 125lbs

end 138lbs - Baby arrived 5 weeks early.
finally gained weight when I started Zofran at 18 weeks. All my weight must have been water because I lost 20lbs within 10 days of delivery.

2nd pregnancy,

I am up to 120lbs, I have gained 10lbs in 17 weeks, I am so proud!I am not throwing up, and I am able to force myself to eat despite the severe food adversions. I am so lucky

I went from 180 to 135 in 6 months, damn I looked good, but boy was I in pain!!!

I lost 15 lbs while pg. I was losing around a pound a week until my doctor hospitalized me and told me not to return to work. With 6 months of partial bedrest, I managed to gain back the 15 lbs and an additional 15 lbs. So I was 15 lbs above pre-pg when I delivered. However, I had pre-eclampsia and was very swollen, and the baby weighed 8 lbs 5 oz. I lost the 15 lbs in less than a week.

I was 64 kg at 5 weeks (before HG), and 64 kg a few days before giving birth. In between I dropped down to 54. After birth I was back down to 59.

after losing 5 lbs before week 18 with #1, i managed to max out by gaining 11 pounds total. woohoo! go me!
by the time DD was four months old, i again weighed 5 lbs less than my starting weight.
this time, i'm holding steady at a 3 lb gain. so far, so good.

Pre-pregnancy I weighed 124. I went down to 114 in the first trimester, and eventually gained that back plus some more to 140. But at the end, I started losing again, and was 134 at delivery and 120 before I got out of the hospital.

I plan on TTC soon, but after each preg I've got lighter and can't gain weight. I'm currently 103lbs (47kg) and am trying to gain at least 5 kg as I'm terrified of dropping below 88lbs (40kg). I don't know if it's just me, but since having HG I struggle to eat large amounts without feeling nauseous - my appetite has never been the same.

second started out at 115, dropped to 96, up to 135 end of pregnancy but still throwing up. after birth i'm at 125.

i have never been able to gain back the weight that i lost with my first pg. i hate that i look anorexic now because i've lost so much muscle and fat. i try to joke with my husband that Davis stole my butt and Jared stole my boobs. if you don't laugh you'll cry kind of thing. (bit of a vent here: just 'cause i try to laugh at it doesn't mean my sister gets to pick on me for it, or DH had to tell me to be glad i don't need my missing bra, or that i feel comfortable in public without my bra to at least give the impression i have boobs still.)

I don't remember exactly my pre-preggie weight, but here's my guess:

I ate a lot of pastries and simple carbs (they stayed down), but have been cautioned to adhere to more protein-heavy foods and less simple carbs. My midwife said that I should consider what I eat in the 3rd trimester to be what I am birthing during labor. That was helpful, as I have a tall husband and small babies don't run in my family.
