want my dh to join

Postby samib » Mar 31, 2006 5:52 pm

Hi there,

Any ideas on how I get my dh to join to dad's lounge. Me being sick is wearing on him. I've been off work now and home for 10 weeks.......and we don't know how much longer this will go on. I need him strong......If you any ideas on how I could encourage him to log on and participate.....I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Sami

If you asked him and he's not interested, I don't know what else you can do.
Good luck though, most of these guys need the support too.

Perhaps it would help him to know there are other husbands/partners on these boards. I know Greywhisker was originally hesitant to share his pain with others but he started emailing with other guys (as opposed to going to these boards - which aren't exactly as busy as the ladies side of things)...

Perhaps you could ask him if he'd be up for getting an email or two from some of the other dads?

I'd be willing to connect with him. PM me if he wants my e-mail address.
