I thought I was better............until yesterday! ugh!

Postby notcoping » Apr 09, 2012 4:08 am

So at 23 weeks I thought I was getting better and I guess I am still better, but I thought it was nearly over. I hadn't felt sick or been sick for 5 days I still had to watch what I ate and rest when I felt dizzy but that is way better than I have been.

Then yesterday reared its ugly head! I was in the car all day visiting DH's grandparents which didn't help and by the time I got home I was feeling extremely nauseaus. I couldn't believe it, it was like I was 8 weeks pregnant again, I couldn't cook dinner and couldn't function. UGH.

Thankgod today I've been o.k. again. :| but it really scared me that I could feel like this again!

Wearing yourself out too much can really set things off for a couple days. Take it easy, and gets lots of rest. I'm sure it's just a temporary thing from doing too much too soon! Good luck

This happens to me all the time! I think I am getting better and better and then I overextend myself and I am back to hiding upstairs in the bath with a glass of ice chips. I think it's pretty normal for second trimester HG from what I read...

Thanks ladies,

I have definately been experiencing ups and downs over the last few days. But I think I just have to take the attitude of "one day at a time". Today is a good day :D
