If your 2 year old son goes for the bucket when he's asked "weres mum" if I am not home or in another room.
Sad part is he thinks where ever my bucket is I should be there to :(

You might have HG if...

You have to avoid various websites solely because the design/wording layout makes you severely nauseous!

- If you have created a new fashion trend: Cotton Balls in the Nostrils, as prevention from smelling anything!! It's even better when you know the exact size of the cotton that will create a snug fit in each nostril.

If you keep loosing weight at every appointment instead of gaining weight.

If you can tell if your caregiver eats meat or not by his or her smell.

If you have to take your spit towel out of your mouth to talk.

If you're worried if one of your kids might drink from your cup designated for spit.

If you wish that your doctor would prescribe a Yanker so that you can suction all the spit up like you're at the dentist office.

If you dread feeding your other children.

If you sit in the shower instead of stand.

If you know everyone on the antepartum unit and have been there the longest.

If you suddenly find that you have a lot of time on your hands because you are not eating anymore.

If you look as best as you've looked since high school.

If you have to buy smaller outfits when you're pregnant than nonpregnant.

If the movement of your baby (quickening) makes you more nauseated.

If 12 weeks really doesn't mean a whole lot to you and 20 weeks means more.

If are suddenly being told that you have a somatic disorder or are histrionic when you have never been known to be a "complainer" in the past.

When you throw up blood and think nothing of it.

When your husband thinks that vomiting is something that is normal.

When you are no longer embarrassed to go out in public with 1) a TPN pump or 2) a dobhoff hanging out your nose.

When you spit so much that you are mistaken to be a camel.

When you feel like you are the parrot on Aladdin.

When you obsess over wanting to eat but know that you can't.

When you debate whether your nuse will be more mad if you 1) keep your vomit or 2) dump it out.

When homecare becomes a chore.

When you feel too week to get out bed for the day.

When you lean over when you stand so that you don't pass out.

Try every food known to man without success.

You know how to manage your TPN better than the nurse.

If your dentist has offered you a payment plan.

You know you have HG when...

Postby jwin1234 » Jul 17, 2011 8:04 pm

Your kids knock on the bathroom door and ask "are you throwing up again..."

The cold of the porcelain on the toilet is comforting...

You would rather roll naked in broken glass than throw up again!
