how about.....

Postby octobermomma » Jun 25, 2007 12:18 pm

a forum for recovery?

I can't find a whole lot of information other than it takes 1-2 months for every month you suffer from HG to recover from HG.

Am I overlooking the info on the site or the correct forum? It isn't necessarily long term issues and we have a forum to prepare for HG...it only stands to reason that we have one to recover from it as well....

ya'll can throw things at me if you want to.....

just an idea...

I was thinking about the stuff that happens that may not be long term impact but still has to be addressed....like nutrition and just the general recovery processes from being sick for 9 months...but not necessarily the things that impact you for the rest of your life....

I don't go into the long-term impact folder because my issues are temporary...but it is still a recovery process

I still think it would fit in the long term inpact folder.

I'd also go with long term impact. Long term doesn't have to mean the rest of your life, but the months following a pregnancy that it takes to recover.

Post Partum would be appropriate for recovery and healing immediately post partum. Long Term would be appropriate for longer-term issues. There is no solid cut-off between the two. In general, if it's measured in months then I would go with PP. If it's something that has or will continue to impact you for years (ex: gall bladder) then I would go with Long Term.
