I haven't had the baby yet, so maybe I shouldn't have responded, but as I am sooooo close, I shouldn't gain too much more (right??): 157lbs
I guess we'll see what happens PP!

ETA: Okay, here's my update. I was actually 159lbs when I delivered, and now at 5 months PP I am at 140 lbs and just CAN'T lose any more.

Im still at 165 and I cant seem to lose ANY more weight!! aarrrggg!!
I hope I will lose more before we start trying for # 3. Well, maybe I shouldnt.. Well, I shouldnt knowing that I will lose about 20lbs, the first 3 months of pregnancy.

I'm fuzzy on some of the details- DH calls it denial. But here's what I remember:

pp: 90 but gained back to 100 after a year

This is an oldie, but a goodie thread.

just a bit of background on me. I seemed to have gained a total of 20 pounds in 4 years (the length of time I have been married), 10 pounds put on last year in Oct. when DH and I went on a trip for a month. I was so upset that I ballooned so fast and so much; now I understand why.

I also haven't had my baby yet (still 4 weeks to go) so there may be changes between now and then. But here goes:

I started at 196
I lost 30 in first few months (exactly 166 in the hospital)
started gaining (FINALLY) around 6-7 months
Just getting back to pre-pg weight now

I hope to weigh around my marriage weight, not my pre-pg weight, when I deliver.

I am new to this site. My mom found it for me. Well I was severe with my first pregnancy. I am now prego again and its starting again. I was never told about HG before.

First pg
180 before
145 at 3 months
160 at delivery
I threw up about 7-8 times per day, during and after delivery as well. Its hard to push when your puking.

This pg
I am only 11 weeks along and have already lost 14 pounds and have been in the ER once, and hospitilized for 23 hours once. Both this past week.

If anyone has med ideas (I've tried most of them), please let me know, or tell me what worked for you. Cause if this new drug don't work, doc says I'm in the hospital for a month on IV. Please help!

P.S. Zofran doesn't help me!

That sure sounds rough I hated my lack of good weight gain (in both my pg's) and I felt utterly wornout afterwards.

I was 32 lbs lighter after I delivered with the first baby and 38 lbs lighter after I delivered the second. I'm about 10 lbs less than my pre-pregnancy weight and I'm now 7 months postpartum with my second. I didn't want to gain back the weight because I need to lose it, but I was so happy to be able to enjoy eating again.

Pre-pregnancy I was a healthy 140.

At 6 weeks preggo I reached the all-time low of 99 pounds.

The day I was induced, at 35 weeks I weighed 135. My Mom said I looked like a toothpick with an olive on it. lol

12 hours after birth I weighed 116.

Second pregnancy, I don't remember. It's all a blur. I was only pregnant for 10 weeks, and I lost about 30 pounds. I don't remember the exact numbers though.

I also should mention that with my first pregnancy, the 35 pounds I gained during gestation were entirely from TPN. I didn't eat at all my entire pregnancy. Considering I ate zero meals, that's pretty good weight gain. It was slow and consistent.

I lost nearly 30 pounds during the pregnancy - began to catch up towards the third trimester but gained it all back and then some within the first year of Gracie's life.

two weeks into brestfeeding 104 lbs.

This time around:
pre-pregnancy 115 lbs. (still nursing 2 yr.old)
lowest at 6 wks. 106 lbs.
currently at 12 wks. 111 lbs.

I am 5'8" tall, and underweight even before pregnancy. Weight loss has been carefully monitored with me, as I don't have reserves. Maybe next time I will wise up & try to pack a few extra lbs. on before TTC.

At the end of my last pregnancy I was 22 lbs under my prepregnancy weight. Then I lost 35 lbs in the first 5 weeks...So I was 57 lbs lighted then then day I conceived close to 1 year ago!!!

The first 2 pregnancies I gained all the weight back by the end of the pg, but not this last time.

I weighed 145 when I got pregnant.
Dropped to 118 in the first trimester and stayed about there till the last trimester.
Then I ballooned up to 162 by the morning of delivery.
I came home from the hospital weighing less than I did when I got pregnant & was 130 for the first year PP.
I began gaining weight with the onset of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis & have weighed roughly 150 for the past 5 yrs or so.
