I've been taking 25mgB6/1/4 Unisom for about 3 days, since I started getting nausea.Today I started to vomit, so I decided to take a benedryl. My question is, do I keep taking the B6/unisom aswell or is the Benedryl supposed to substitute it?
Thanks, Karen x

I have no idea about b6/unisom, but I took benadryl over Zofran and Meclazine as a part of my coctail. It was like the magic dust that made everything work better.
This was under the supervision and at the direction of my doctor, though.
Do you have a good doctor? Is it something you could run by him or her just to make sure?

No - you can't take both. Either the B6/Unisom combo or you can take a B6/Benedryl combo.
Personally, I only take the Benedryl by itself and that works best for me. When the nausea was really super bad I would do 50mg every 4 hours up to 150mg a day (sometimes 200mg - but I think that may be too much so don't go by me).
Now I do 25mg every 3-4 hours as needed.
I never used the unisom - but for no particular reason - just used the Benedryl instead.
Hope this helps.

And another thing...I also take Ativan for nausea and it works great. I think better than the Benedryl. I take .5mg twice a day.
So - just to clarify...I am taking Zofran (for the vomitting, Benedryl and Ativan for the nausea.

Do try the Benedryl without the B6 if you cont to vomit and have nausea. The B6 made me much worse during my pregnancy.
Good luck,

Just checking in to see how you're doing. Did the Benadryl help at all? We're here for you if you need any support!
