There is an episode on RIGHT NOW with a mother who had hyperemesis. Her OB called it that and she was sick right up to delivery. The show labelled it as morning sickness, but the doc keeps calling it HG. Poor gal keeps getting crackered by the nurses!

I just turned it on so I'm gonna watch now, I only missed the first 10 minutes. Thanks for the heads up.

Forgot to tell more about the patient. It's not the hispanic woman. It's the white woman with really short hair. She hasn't been on since the first few minutes. Don't change it if they stay on Ana. It's the right episode.

Stefanie! That's the HG mom's name. The doc said that the passing out was part of the dehydration from the HG. The seizures are unrelated.

They named her sailor
Because that the father's job, seriously people have become so bad at naming kids.
Anyway I guess I missed the beginning part about the history and I only saw the birth. I drove me nuts to hear the voice over call it morning sickness over and over.

Were you yelling at the TV too? Every time the narrator said "morning sickness" I had to correct her. They seriously glossed over it, though the doc went into quit e a bit of detail at the very beginning. I'm disappointed.

I guess if they had just said morning sickness from the beginning it wouldn't be so bad. But to have the doc call it hg and then have them keep saying morning sickness, no wonder people think it's just morning sickness. People just think it's some fancy new name for it.

We should all get together and write the company and let them know how lame that is for them to sugar coat it because what we have isnt "accepted" in pregnancy, they just lump us in with the others.
