B6 Troubles?

Postby Proudmama » Sep 19, 2005 4:11 am

I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble taking B6? It seems to upset my stomach so much that I just cannot take it.

Thanks

It's a common complaint unfortunately. What doseage are you on? I started of taking 100 mg but it didn't make me feel so great so I reduced it to 50 mg. That worked better and eventually I was able to go back up to 100mg again. Maybe try that? I have no problems with the B6 now.

How long have you been taking the B6 and how long has it been bothering you? I notice that you are getting close to testing - could you maybe be pregnant and the nausea is kicking in already?? What fun if we had 3 bfps this month! :)

I tried to take 80 mgs for about a week but it was upsetting my stomach so much that I just quit (about two weeks ago).

I was fine with it pre-pregnancy, but couldn't keep it down during pg and even the sight of the sublingual B6 made me gag. That's why I was trying to find a form of it that I could keep down.

I tried taking it while ttc and it made me feel terrible and I never took it again. So you're not alone. :?

Rebecca,
Thank goodness. I was beginning to feel really alone in this issue.
