Thanks for the info Suzanne! I know you have to take the iron because you are anemic, but do you find it increases the HG a little, more than a little or a lot? 40 mg seems to be quite a bit - maybe this is a post-first trimester vitamin for our girls? What do you think?

Joanna,

I'd definitely say it's a late 2nd tri or 3rd tri vitamin. Wouldn't go near it first tri.

Learned this week that the folks who make the chewable prenatals are the folks who make Premesis, which some folks here are tolerating. Seems this companay has an interest in puking :wink: 8)

I took/am taking this vitamin and it has been a tremendous help. I was never able to swallow prenatal vitamins during my pregnancy and had to crush them and mix with applesauce or ice cream. After I found out I had gestational diabetes, neither of these foods were an option for me, so the chewable was a great alternative. I breastfed for nearly a year and continued to take it.
