HER in search of Foundation Director

HER Foundation seeks a proven Director who has helped manage and grow a non-profit organization.

Having worked with a grassroots campaign promoting women's or children's issues is greatly desired, but NOT required. This experienced and energetic non-profit Director will be instruemental in leading the HER foundation through the next level of growth and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in non-profit management
• Knowledge of strategies to secure new funding through grants/proposals, etc.
• Ability to distinguish & identify funding opportunities from a variety of public & private funding sources.
• Management and growth of an active online community
• Adept at public relations and marketing
• A B.A. degree in Journalism/ Communications, Political science or Public Administration is desired

Job Duties

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Foundation
• Preparation of proposals & grant applications
• Develop strategic plan and implement public relations and marketing campaigns.
